The trunk of Ganesh ji bent towards the left side is influenced by the Sun. Breathing through the right nose means that our Pingala nadi is activated thatll find the day ahead full of zeal.   Reverring through proper Vedic rituals, Ganesh jis idol whose trunk is bent towards the right, invokes mighty blessings and denotes surplus might. As your breath moves equally through both nostrils i.e. when your right and left nostrils move equally, you are in the Sushumna state. Ganesh jis idol with a straight trunk is Sushumna. Soaking in the grace of Lord Ganesh ji  in Sushumna state, you invoke the grace of Riddhi Siddhi and Moksha. Considered best for Kundalini awakening, Ganesh ji in Sushuma state is good when you embark upon a strict spiritual journey and aim at  getting away from the trap of birth and death. Living in a family (grihastha), you work errands to earn the livelihood and wish to enjoy the creature comforts of life, succeed at professional front, besides keeping  good health and wishing to realize prosperity and a happy family life.
